Yellow Cab

On April 2018 I was invited along with two skateboarders from Converse Brazil to a premiere of Converse’s newest film by the time named Purple. We spent 20 days in the city and it was the first time for both of them. We created a video named “The (L) Train” about the experience lived during this period of time. This month, I decided to revisit my New York footage from six years ago and did this new piece, "Yellow Cab". Some of this footage didn’t make into the original cut so it made me think of how much memories we leave behind when we are working on a deadline. So, to me this is a new memory created and my love letter to one of the most interesting places I've ever been on earth. And of course, a homage to the East Coast skate culture featuring the beautiful skating of Felipe Oliveira. Special thanks to my friend Kiko Dinucci who let me use his music - hope you guys like it.
