Flyscope is about seeing through unusual optics that questions our conditioned perceptions, presenting new problems, possibilities and insight.

video by: Erick Munari – “My artistic practice is deeply rooted in aesthetic exploration, with a strong influence from sound and music. I leverage the flexibility of digital imagery and sound to create visual experiences rich in narrative and aesthetic depth. Through digital manipulations of human body images, temporal shifts, mechanical motifs, grids, and rhythmic soundscapes, I aim to construct an artificial narrative brimming with vitality. In this specific video, significant portions of the performances are left intact to fully immerse viewers in the effect, offering a complete and self-contained experience rather than mere examples or samples. The imagery comprises public domain dance performances, while the soundtrack is entirely original”.

Munari is from Brazil and has been living in NY for a very long time. His favorite food is spicy.
