An elemental figure cloaked in Fire and Water, simultaneously burning and quenching the land. This evokes the practices of traditional land stewards, who used controlled burning to promote ecological diversity and reduce wildfires. The black figure, challenges the negative connotations often associated with the color. She symbolizes rich, fertile earth, the nurturing darkness of the womb, and the vast expanse of space.

Asen James

A symbiosis of the arts

Welcome to Art Dialogues, an online magazine created by photographer Anita Goes with the goal of expanding art dialogues between Brazil and the world.
Anita has been living in New York for a decade. Despite being far from her homeland, she thought about how to stay connected with Brazil’s artistic production.
This gave rise to the idea of founding a magazine that focuses on artists, going beyond the final artwork. Through conversations, we explore the thoughts, inspirations, and creative processes of a diverse community of collaborators.

We invite you to be part of this family.
